The Oxford University Society in Victoria’s Privacy Policy outlines our ongoing obligations to you in respect of how we manage your Personal Information.

The Personal Information we will collect from you may include your name, residential address, email address, date of birth, phone numbers and data relating to your association with the University of Oxford..
We will gather personal information on you from either the Oxford University Society of Victoria’s existing membership records or from information you enter on our website.
We collect your Personal Information for the purpose of providing you with services related to your membership of the Oxford University Society of Victoria. You may unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time by contacting us in writing.

Under the Associations Incorporation Reform Act 2012, a member of the Oxford University Society of Victoria may request to inspect the Society’s Register of Members. A person who inspects the register has an obligation to ensure that information about another person obtained from the Register is not used to to contact or send materials to that other person. You can also ask the Secretary to restrict access to your information on the Register. Further information on the rules governing members’ registers may be obtained here.
Our website may include a members’ directory which contains profile information for each member. The default profile information is shown as per the example below.
Members can manage the information about them that is shown in the directory through the profile settings in the Society’s website.
It is important to us that your Personal Information is up to date. We will take reasonable steps to make sure that your Personal Information is accurate, complete and up to date. If you find that the information we have is not up to date or is inaccurate, please advise us as soon as practicable so we can update our records.
