The guest speaker for our March Lunch is Annie Chapman
The title of Annie’s presentation is:
Trading Routes and Ruthless Khans: A Modern Journey Through the Silk Road's Heartland
Annie Chapman read PPE at St Anne's College, Oxford, before pursuing a career in consultancy. Ten years ago, she made the move from the UK to Melbourne, settling in Fitzroy, where she's been ever since. Her publishing projects include Many Colours of Home: A Record of Ukrainians Seeking Refuge in Victoria. When not working, Annie is an enthusiastic traveller, with recent adventures taking her to places as varied as Christmas Island and the Cocos Islands, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Alaska, and Central Asia.
Lunch is at the Kelvin Club (www.kelvinclub.com) where we meet from 12-30 pm onwards. A two-course meal is served at 1 pm and the formal part of the proceedings will conclude around 2-15 pm.
